ARC Group is hiring a VP/Director to lead systematic regional coverage across the Middle East (GCC focus), originating and developing mandates across M&A, US capital markets solutions (US IPOs, RTOs, SPACs), and management consulting-led value creation. This is a senior coverage seat: you will build a repeatable origination engine, own key relationships, and work closely with ARC's execution teams to convert opportunities into closed mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Middle East coverage and origination: build/maintain a prioritized coverage universe across corporates, family groups, SWFs/SOEs, strategic buyers, PE/PC, and key intermediaries.
- Implement disciplined coverage: account plans, relationship mapping, meeting cadence, CRM hygiene, pipeline governance, weekly reporting.
- Originate mandates across ARC's platform, including:
- M&A (sell-side / buy-side)
- US Capital Markets:US IPOs, RTOs, SPAC advisory (and related pre-IPO fundraising where relevant)
- Management Consulting: strategy, transformation, performance improvement, PMI / value creation
- Lead senior stakeholder dialogue: founders/CEOs/CFOs, principals, investment teamsposition ARC as trusted advisor.
- Drive commercial strategy on opportunities: mandate scoping, proposal development, fee positioning, internal resource mobilization.
- Coordinate delivery with execution teams: support positioning, buyer/investor outreach, process momentum, and closing.
- Build regional presence: events, partnerships, and market intelligence converted into actionable origination themes.
Requirements
- 815+ years in investment banking, private capital, corporate development, Big 4 deals, or strategy consulting with strong origination/coverage exposure in the Middle East.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and convert them into mandates; strong commercial judgement.
- Working knowledge of M&A and US capital markets pathways (IPO/RTO/SPAC) and how they link to private fundraising and strategic alternatives.
- Highly structured: coverage cadence, CRM discipline, and pipeline reporting.
- English required; Arabic strongly preferred.
- Based in Dubai/Abu Dhabi with regional travel.
