VP - Portfolio Management (EPMO Leader)

Description

* Design and implement the enterprise PMO operating model, from frameworks to dashboards to reporting cadences.

* Lead and scale a team of PMO professionals overseeing planning, tracking, risk management, and delivery health.

* Establish a single source of truth for project and program reporting across the enterprise, including the adoption of tools.

* Act as a gatekeeper for project governance: ensure every new initiative meets quality thresholds, risk controls, and alignment with strategic goals.

* Work closely with C-level stakeholders, translating delivery data into strategic insights and highlighting risks, delays or delivery concerns early.

* Collaborate with vendors and internal delivery teams to drive execution, particularly across digital and AI-led transformation initiatives.

Requirements:

* Deep experience in enterprise PMO, portfolio, or transformation leadership roles within large complex organisations.

* Proven track record setting up and scaling PMO structures from the ground up.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing teams and influence at senior levels - must have led teams of at least 8 people.

* Fluent in project governance methodologies, reporting frameworks, and portfolio tools.

* Sector background is open, but you must be comfortable operating in fast-moving, complex environments.

* Strategic mindset with a hands-on, outcomes-first approach.
