Job purpose:
Assist guests professionally across all Gourmet Service areas while maintaining high service standards.
Anticipate guest needs and consistently exceed expectations.
Promote Jayasom's wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.
Key operational responsibilities:
Participate in daily briefings and maintain open, effective communication with the team.
Build warm, professional relationships with guests to ensure outstanding satisfaction.
Deliver high-level gourmet service in line with Jayasom Amaala service standards.
Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, allergens, guest preferences, and wellness requirements.
Operate the Micros POS system accurately as per assigned responsibility level.
Provide proper guest greeting, table setup, order accuracy, and timely food delivery.
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, courteously, and professionally.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards across all service areas.
Participate in trainings, tastings, inspections, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Support inventory control, daily operational reports, and special guest arrangements.
Assist with opening and closing procedures of gourmet service outlets.
Stay updated on service and culinary trends and share feedback with leadership.
Job requirements:
BA in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury resort environment, including pre-opening exposure.
Progressive experience delivering high-quality service standards.
Strong knowledge of food regulations, health and safety standards.
Familiarity with hotel information systems such as Opera, Fidelio, and Micros Symphony.
