About The Role
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be an essential part of our front-of-house team, ensuring guests receive outstanding service throughout their dining experience. You will welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, take and deliver orders accurately, and maintain an inviting atmosphere in the restaurant. With your attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction, you will help reinforce The Meydan Hotel's reputation for exceptional hospitality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at every stage.
- Monitor tables and respond promptly to guest needs, addressing any concerns or requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, following health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and support smooth operation during busy service periods.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions in accordance with The Meydan Hotel's procedures.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.
- Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
