Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria for a Warehouse Capability Supervisor. The role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, including managing shipping and receiving processes, material handling, and inventory control. The supervisor will ensure the implementation of performance and safety standards, as well as monitor and optimize workflows to promote efficiency and accuracy. Providing team mentorship and assisting with equipment operations, such as forklifts, will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes and expertise in Material Handling techniques.
- Experience in Inventory Control and process optimization to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
- Skilled in Forklift Operation, while adhering to operational and safety guidelines.
- Additional experience in logistics or FMCG distribution is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in an on-site, fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.
