The Warehouse Senior Manager at Hyde Park Developments is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely distribution, and adherence to safety standards. This role leads the warehouse team to support the company's construction and development projects by maintaining optimal stock levels and streamlining logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and accuracy
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate with procurement, project management, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with project demands
- Oversee inventory management processes, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation to maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse
- Manage warehouse budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor relationships
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools for reporting, demand forecasting, and data analysis
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce costs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 13 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 5 years in a managerial position
- Proven experience within the real estate or construction sectors is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics management
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve targets effectively
