Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inbound Operations:

• Supervise receiving of furniture shipments, ensuring accurate quantity and quality checks.
• Coordinate unloading, inspection, and documentation of goods.

1. Storage & Inventory Management:

• Ensure proper storage of furniture items to prevent damage.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records in WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.

1. Outbound Operations:

• Plan and oversee picking, packing, and dispatch of furniture orders.
• Ensure timely preparation of items for delivery and proper loading onto trucks.

1. Team Management:

• Lead and train warehouse staff and casual labor on handling furniture safely.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to maintain productivity and quality standards.

1. Quality & Safety Compliance:

• Implement safety protocols for handling heavy and fragile furniture items.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.

1. Coordination & Reporting:

• Organize with procurement, logistics, and store teams for smooth operations and coming shipments.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on inbound/outbound activities, inventory status, and manpower utilization.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience: 35 years in warehouse operations, preferably in furniture or bulky goods handling.
• Knowledge of WMS and MS Office.
• Understanding of furniture handling and packaging standards.
• Leadership and team management.
• Problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
