The Warranty Estimator is a key position, responsible for overseeing warranty processes and collaborating with various teams. This role ensures accurate estimates, timely invoicing, and effective communication to maintain our high standards.
- Verify and ensure all warranty requirements are met on repair orders, including cost estimation.
- Attach necessary documents, report unclaimable hours, and communicate with the Service Manager and Warranty Controller.
- Return repair orders with discrepancies, clearly noting issues for the Quality Controller's attention.
- Generate costing reports for management, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Confirm accurate parts pricing and warranty account usage for precise invoicing.
- Minimize Warranty WIP and clear pending tasks promptly to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Ensure JLR extended warranty repairs are invoiced and submitted within the given timeframe.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address warranty queries and maintain a seamless process.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail and organization to uphold warranty standards.
