Seddiqi Holding is a family-owned and managed company with a unique, diversified portfolio of businesses and brands across numerous sectors. The business units include Ahmed Seddiqi the longest standing and largest unit within the group, Seddiqi Properties, Swiss Watch Services and Mizzen.
We are looking for a watch technician for one of our business unit - Swiss Watch Services who will be responsible to deliver quality partial repairs, quartz movement exchanges, quartz services mechanical watch services up to and including pillar wheel chronograph services or luxury brand watches to SWS and Brand specification.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out full services and partial repairs on mechanical movements from basic manual wind through to automatic complications to SWS and Brand standards according to training and skill level.
- Carry out all repairs within the agreed SLA and advise the Workshop Administration if a job will overrun with an expected completion date.
- Ensure all jobs allocated to you are correctly assigned on the system.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Pass all completed repairs to QC with all parts replaced in the sleeve
- Reading the job card to ensure the customers requirements are met.
- Always using the correct techniques and tools to complete the repair.
- Ensure that all watches have the appropriate testing documentation attached to the paperwork on completion and that the QC sheet has been completed.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1-3 years job related experience
- Proven track record working on quality watches demonstrating exceptional performance
- Have previous bench experience and passed the appropriate bench test or be a qualified Brand Technician.
