Ensure that Operational Excellence as well as the transformation of the branch into a Customer-Focused Organization deliver the expected outcomes on water treatment, water network and sewerage management.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive Water Treatment & Supply Plan and related Enabling Projects.
- Responsible for Water Treatment & Supply process quality, and for related impacts on the environment.
- Responsible for Water Treatment & Supply process continuity; supervise and facilitate the definition of actions to be done for optimized Water Treatment & Supply processes in the Regions. Coordinate and supervise Business continuity plan.
- Monitor the Water Treatment & Supply O&M processes of the branches of Jeddah, including O&M subcontractors, ensuring that the quality of the treatment is achieved as per the contractual requirement.
- Support the central Technical Department including Water process, maintenance and laboratory.
- Manage the Water process lab at cluster level and work closely with lab analysis activities.
- Work closely with the Water Treatment & Supply O&M teams to monitor and optimize chemical consumption and energy consumption.
- Review Water Treatment & Supply O&M team targets and requirements, steer monthly process meetings and follow up process targets.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation relating to Water Treatment & Supply processes, including QAQC-related documents and audit-related documents. Ensure that all documents are up to date.
- Report to the O&M Director in case of any deviations in Process, Lab & Operation.
- Lead the energy management of Water Treatment & Supply processes.
- Monitor and improve operator and technician SOPs.
- Troubleshoot the process; implement and manage corrective actions.
- Ensure a smooth transition in the beginning of the contract in his/her areas of responsibility.
- Ensure monthly and annual reports of performance against Agreement KPIs, ECRA KPIs and NWC performance indicators.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Senior Expert with 15 years of experience in the water sector and at least 10 years of experience in Water Treatment & Supply process O&M and overseas experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Water Treatment & Supply processes with previous directly-relevant O&M experience.
B.Sc. Engineering Degree
BU: Water Division - Water Africa (except Morocco & South Africa)
