Description
Job Title: MEP Drafter
Location: Kuwait
Khalid Ali Al Kharafi & Bros. Co. is looking for an experienced MEP Drafter to join our project team in Kuwait. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings in coordination with project requirements and other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
Revise and update drawings based on consultant comments, site requirements, and design changes.
Coordinate MEP drawings with civil, structural, and architectural drawings to avoid clashes.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, approved designs, and industry standards.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing registers for project records.
Assist engineers and project teams with drawing modifications and technical details when required.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP drafting within construction projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Experience in preparing MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings.
Good understanding of construction drawings and project coordination.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Drafting.
