Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer & Developer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is skilled in both design and development, capable of turning ideas into visually appealing, user-friendly, and high-performing websites. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to bring digital experiences to life.
Key Responsibilities
Design
Create modern, responsive website layouts, UI components, and digital assets.
Develop design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys.
Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Optimize designs for usability, accessibility, and performance.
Development
Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
Build custom WordPress/Shopify/other CMS themes and templates.
Implement front-end and back-end functionality as needed.
Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, technical issues, and compatibility problems.
Collaboration & Project Execution
Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to understand requirements.
Translate business needs into functional, visually compelling web experiences.
Manage the full website lifecyclefrom concept and design to launch and maintenance.
Conduct regular updates, improvements, and security checks.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
Proven experience as a Web Designer and/or Web Developer.
Strong proficiency in:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Adobe Creative Suite / Figma
Responsive web design
WordPress or relevant CMS
Understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility.
Experience with website performance optimization and SEO basics.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Experience with frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Next.js.
Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, or other back-end languages.
Familiarity with version control (Git).
Experience with motion graphics or animations is a plus
