Job title: Web Developer - Team Lead
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Location: Dubai (On site)
Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Who is INFINOX
INFINOX is a global online CFD brokerage that offers clients the opportunity to trade the financial markets with industry-leading technology and a premium Customer Support. Our global presence means that we have offices in over 15 countries and are regulated in multiple jurisdictions. We are an award-winning firm driven by our culture of Integrity, Ambition, Inspiration and Excellence. We strive to compete in an ever evolving and challenging environment whilst ensuring our clients are valued and serviced at the centre of our business.
About the Role
We are a growing fintech company seeking an ambitious and experienced Web Developer to step into a leadership role and completely own our external web presence. This is a critical, high-impact position focused on strategic migration and infrastructure build-out, not maintenance.
Your main goal is to rebuild our entire web infrastructure-currently consisting of around 10 multi-domain, multi-language websites running on WordPress-to achieve total marketing autonomy. You will assess the current state, choose and implement a modern technology stack, migrate all content, and establish a high-quality, self-sustaining system.
You will also be responsible for leading a small, dedicated development team.
What you'll do
Strategy & Migration
- Audit the current WordPress setup and define a comprehensive migration strategy.
Development & Architecture
- Choose and implement a modern stack (your call-we trust your judgment).
- Rebuild all sites with a focus on marketing autonomy: easy content updates, rapid landing page creation, and seamless localization.
Operations & Quality
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and quality checks for the new infrastructure.
- Establish development processes, documentation, and quality standards for the team.
Team Leadership
- Lead a small team (2 developers now, with plans to grow and mentor).
Future Projects
- Later: build the frontend for our internal CRM (API ready).
Working with Marketing
You will work closely with the marketing team daily. This requires a developer who can:
- Translate complex business requests (e.g., conversion funnels, A/B tests, campaign landing pages) into robust technical solutions.
- Advise on technical possibilities, push back when necessary, and ensure that the websites are architected to serve key marketing goals.
- Be comfortable discussing web analytics, conversion tracking, and campaign performance, not just code.
How We Work
- Speed and efficiency are key performance indicators (KPIs)-but never at the expense of quality.
- We expect you to actively use AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development while maintaining high standards, proper oversight, and code quality.
Tech Stack Requirements
Must Have Skills
- JavaScript (solid fundamentals, not just framework-level)
- WordPress (need to understand the current stack to migrate away)
- Modern frameworks: React, Vue, or Next.js
- Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, caching, security basics)
- API integration (REST/GraphQL)
- Headless CMS experience (Strapi, Contentful, etc.)
- Basic DevOps (CI/CD, deployment pipelines)
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a technical leader who:
- Has experience building CMS-driven websites with a strong focus on SEO, performance, and content management.
- Understands SEO and AIEO principles (how search engines and AI systems crawl and rank content).
- Has a solid grasp of web analytics setup and interpretation (GA4, GTM, conversion tracking).
- Possesses an eye for design and UX-you can spot visual or usability issues and collaborate with designers to fix them.
- Holds strong opinions on web architecture and CMS solutions.
- Has experience with multi-language, multi-domain setups.
- Is comfortable with AI-assisted development.
- Can lead, mentor, and make sound technical decisions.
- Think in systems and processes, not just code.
- Fluent in English.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package
- Excellent medical insurance coverage
- Hybrid working model offering flexibility
- 25 working days of annual leave
- Full autonomy to make technical decisions and select the technology stack.
- Opportunity to build a core system from scratch, not just maintain legacy infrastructure.
