Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Welder will perform welding and fabrication tasks on construction equipment and related components, following technical drawings, repair instructions, and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing materials and joints, setting up and operating welding equipment, inspecting welds for quality, and performing adjustments or rework as needed. The role involves collaborating with mechanics and technicians to support equipment repairs, conducting basic cutting and grinding work, and maintaining tools and work areas in safe, orderly condition. The Welder is expected to follow company safety policies, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and contribute to timely completion of maintenance and refurbishment projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong welding skills, including general Welding and Arc Welding proficiency, with solid practical experience in industrial or construction settings.
• Candidates should possess specialized process skills such as TIG Welding and MIG Welding for different materials and thicknesses.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of common metals and alloys used in construction equipment and appropriate filler materials.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in welding or metal fabrication; trade school or technical diploma is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and equipment repair manuals.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including safe handling of equipment, tools, and hazardous materials.
• Experience working in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial repair environments is an advantage.
• Physical capability to work in workshop and yard environments, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperatures.
