Job Description
As a Dry / Wet Utilities Director, you will :
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers and designers involved in wet / dry utilities design and delivery projects. Develop design strategies, standards, and processes to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of design plans and specification
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, and other project team members to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to quality standards, and manage any necessary modifications
- Ensure that dry / wet utilities projects comply with applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards. Stay updated on relevant environmental and safety regulations and integrate them into processes
- Collaborate with consultants and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Demonstrate project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively. Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources is beneficial
The Successful Applicant
You must have :
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, construction management or a related field is required
- Strong technical expertise in dry / wet utilities design principles, methodologies, and software tools. Proficiency in design software specific to the respective dry utility, such as power system analysis software or telecommunications network design software and wet utilities like water management, drainage, stormwater i
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams, collaborate with consultants and stakeholders, and present solutions.
