We are seeking a Worker Welfare Lead to oversee and maintain high welfare standards across projects in the UAE and KSA, with a strong focus on auditing subcontractor compliance and worker living conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of subcontractor accommodations and site welfare facilities
- Ensure welfare standards meet UAE and KSA labour law requirements
- Inspect living conditions, hygiene, food quality, and general worker welfare provisions
- Identify gaps, issue corrective actions, and follow up on implementation
- Review subcontractor records (worker lists, WPS, welfare documentation, etc.)
- Investigate worker complaints and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records and reports on welfare audits and findings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HSE, Occupational Health & Safety, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in worker welfare, HSE, or accommodation auditing
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and welfare standards in UAE and/or KSA
- Experience working with subcontractors on construction projects
- Good attention to detail and reporting skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and confidentially
