Job Title: Workshop Manager
Role Summary:
As a Workshop Manager, you will oversee the complete operations of the workshop,
ensuring performance, efficiency, and profitability. You will lead the technical team,
manage daily workflows, drive business growth, maintain exceptional customer
satisfaction, and enforce safety and quality standards. Experience in vehicle
detailing workshop operations is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Plan and assign jobs according to workload, urgency, and skill levels of
technicians.
Drive business growth by attracting new customers and increasing workshop
revenue.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, ensuring proper job costing and
margins.
Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality
standards.
Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and workshop organization.
Implement and enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with
regulations.
Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of spare parts and
consumables.
Monitor and control inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels while
minimizing waste and loss.
Ensure all required tools, equipment, and operational resources are available
and maintained.
Conduct performance reviews for technicians and provide structured
feedback and development support.
Handle customer concerns professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Take ownership of operational challenges and work effectively under
pressure.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in workshop operations or automotive
service management.
Experience in vehicle detailing workshop operations is mandatory. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of inventory control, procurement, and workshop safety
standards.
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Preferrable non-Asian nationality candidates
