workshop team leader / Ops coordinator

We are a fast-growing automotive wholesale dealership managing vehicle inventory across multiple locations in the United States. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to oversee repairs, parts logistics, and vendor communication to ensure vehicles move quickly through the reconditioning process.

Key Responsibilities:

Research vehicle problems, diagnostic codes, and repair solutions.

Create and maintain daily workflow plans for vendors and the internal operations team.

Assign vehicles and follow up daily with body shops and mechanics on repair progress.

Track all parts orders, shipments, returns, and warranties.

Identify delays and proactively resolve operational issues.

Communicate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.

Maintain organized records of repairs, invoices, and vehicle statuses.

Provide the owner with clear, concise daily updates.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong automotive knowledge (body shop, fleet, or service background preferred)

Ability to read diagnostic codes and research mechanical issues

Extremely organized and detail-oriented

Natural problem solver who takes initiative

Comfortable coordinating multiple vendors simultaneously

Tech-savvy and able to manage workflows digitally

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are required.
