The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Booking GL transactions i.e. accruals, adjusting entries, etc.
- Processing of accounts payables and payments to suppliers
- Processing of employee reimbursements and cash advances
- Performing intercompany reconciliations
- Handling and booking of fixed assets, depreciation, etc.
- Preparation of Financial Statements Balance sheet/Profit and Loss
- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- Prepare tax documents
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Qualifications
- Full Time Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from any European University
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
