We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while supporting key accounting and reporting processes.
Job Description:
- Record invoice and general ledger entries in accounting software and in accordance with internal processes and controls
- Accounts payable lifecycle management
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash
- Month monthly OPEX reporting including variance analysis
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes
- Filing quarterly VAT returns
- Provide administrative and documentation support during audit
- Cashflow forecast maintenance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
- 1-3 years of experience (in the commodities industry is an advantage)
- Part qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite is an advantage)
