Role Description

KFM is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in our Dubai office (Business Bay).

The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and analyze financial data to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and supporting audits. The role involves collaborating with other departments and branches to ensure the effective management of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT requirements
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Improve and maintain efficient accounting processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 47 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations is an advantage
  • Experience with accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or ACA) are a plus
