Role Description

Midas Furniture is seeking a skilled Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Smart Village, October. The Accountant will handle a range of financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, monitoring expenses, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. The professional will ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist in budgeting, reporting, and audits.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of tax regulations, auditing, and compliance practices
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaboratively work with multiple departments
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the furniture or retail industry is a plus
