We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statutory and management reports, and looking after accounts payable and receivable. The accountant will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and reconcile accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile intra-group balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with departments to prepare and monitor budgets, and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Compliance & Regulation: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in 1C accounting software.
- Fluency in English and Russian languages
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (Russian GAAP and IFRS).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with financial analysis and forecasting.
