About the Role
Roots Land Real Estate is hiring an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations across our real estate brokerage and property management divisions. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance, receivables coordination, and close collaboration with internal teams and external audit support.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general accounting records and assist with monthly financial statements
- Manage accounts receivable, billing, and collections follow-up
- Perform reconciliations, postings, and basic internal controls
- Coordinate with Property Management and Sales teams on financial matters
- Support VAT filings, audits, and accounting system accuracy
- Liaise with external audit support as required
Qualifications & Experience
- 35 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Prior exposure to real estate accounting (brokerage or property management preferred)
- Working knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, and receivables
- Experience using accounting systems and performing reconciliations
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently with guidance when required
