We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across a diversified group of companies operating in the power generation, real estate, and general trading sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities within the group
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis in coordination with senior management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, audit requirements, and statutory filings
- Establish and maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Assist senior management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and supervise accounting teams across the group
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a senior accounting role within a group of companies
- Strong knowledge of group consolidation, financial reporting, and compliance
- Experience in power generation, energy, real estate, or general trading sectors is an advantage
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong proficiency in French (spoken and written)
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
