Role OverviewThis role will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, and providing accurate financial information to support management decision-making. The position requires hands-on involvement in accounting, reporting, and internal control processes, with the ability to work closely with leadership and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with applicable local accounting and regulatory requirements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Review complex accounting matters such as revenue recognition, leases, provisions, and impairments
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit engagements
- Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to management
- Support regulatory and compliance-related requirements as needed
- Guide and review the work of junior accounting staff, when applicable
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a strong Finance background
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant or equivalent) is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Strong background in accounting and financial reporting
- Experience working with audit firms, professional services.
- High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
Technical Skills- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
