As part of our growth and dedication to excellence, we are seeking a results-driven and experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile customer invoices, credit notes, and receipts.
- Follow up on outstanding balances and coordinate timely collections.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure accurate aging and payment status.
- Prepare and review AR aging reports and communicate regularly with the sales team.
- Maintain proper documentation for all customer transactions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing with accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with finance and sales to improve billing and collection cycles.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary schedules and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of AR processes and collection procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or Oracle preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Based in Cairo.
