Batterjee Medical College is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily departmental operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination, effective communication, and efficient administrative processes across the department.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Perform daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Draft and proofread emails, reports, and official correspondence
- Maintain accurate records and organized office systems
Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage calendars, appointments, and departmental meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track action items
- Coordinate events, workshops, and internal activities
Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students, staff, and visitors
- Handle calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and efficiently
Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with internal departments to support operations
- Assist team members and contribute to achieving departmental goals
Confidentiality & Systems Use
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Utilize Microsoft Office and internal systems for administrative processes
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
1–3 years of administrative experience (academic or healthcare preferred)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in Arabic and English
