Job Description Architect
Department: Design / Projects
Reports to: Architecture Manager
Location: In between HQ Office in Riyadh and Temporary project based in another region.
Role Purpose
Develop and deliver architectural design solutions from concept to completion, ensuring coordination across disciplines and compliance with codes, client requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design across all stages (concept IFC).
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
- Review shop drawings, materials, and design submittals.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, QS, Procurement, and Site teams.
- Monitor progress, highlight risks, and support decision-making.
- Engage with consultants, PMCs, and authorities on codes/approvals.
- Support value engineering and sustainability considerations.
- Support project team during IFC development with 3rd party design agency.
Internal & External Interfaces
Work closely with internal design, site, QA/QC, HSE, procurement teams, and external consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture.
- 7 10 years of experience (concept IFC) preferred.
- Strong detailing, coordination, and shop-drawing review skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Adobe Suite, and CDE platforms.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- BIM/Revit certification
- Basic HSE/site safety training
- Sustainability or LEED
