About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled Architect Design Team Leader to lead and manage architectural design activities across major construction projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing design development, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant, and innovative design solutions aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the architectural design team throughout all project stages
- Review and develop architectural designs, drawings, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and BIM teams to ensure design integration
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and client requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design team members
- Manage design schedules, deliverables, and project timelines
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and problem-solving
- Support construction teams with design clarifications and site coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's is a plus)
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in architectural design
- Proven experience in leading design teams on large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of international standards and Saudi building codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and design software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Experience working on mega or high-profile projects is preferred
