Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Expert with strong experience in designing and implementing advanced cooling solutions, specifically liquid cooling technologies. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing data center performance, efficiency, and sustainability through innovative thermal management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data center infrastructure with a focus on liquid cooling systems (Direct-to-Chip, Immersion Cooling).

Lead end-to-end data center design including power, cooling, and rack layout optimization.

Evaluate and improve cooling efficiency (PUE optimization) and thermal performance.

Collaborate with engineering, IT, and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of cooling systems.

Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and capacity planning.

Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942).

Manage vendors and technology partners related to cooling solutions.

Provide technical leadership in modernization and retrofit projects.

Monitor and troubleshoot cooling system performance issues.

Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

7–12+ years of experience in data center design and operations.

Proven experience in liquid cooling technologies implementation.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, heat transfer, and thermal dynamics.

Familiarity with hyperscale or enterprise data center environments.

Experience with design tools (CFD analysis, AutoCAD, Revit).

Certifications such as CDCDP, CDCS, or Uptime Institute are a plus.

Required Skills:

Expertise in liquid cooling solutions (immersion & direct liquid cooling).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project management and stakeholder coordination.

Knowledge of sustainability practices in data centers.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AI/HPC workloads cooling requirements.

Knowledge of edge data centers and modular deployments.

Familiarity with green data center initiatives.

Key KPIs:

Reduction in Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).

Cooling system efficiency and uptime.

Successful implementation of liquid cooling projects.

Cost optimization in cooling infrastructure.
