Your Mission
The Area Sales Manager plays a key role in driving brand performance and executing trade marketing strategies across multiple markets. Core responsibilities include analyzing distributor performance, coordinating marketing and training initiatives, maintaining consistent in-store brand representation, managing orders and logistics, and identifying opportunities for merchandising and CAPEX investments. This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Your Impact
Brand Management
- Conduct comprehensive performance analysis of key distributors across sell-in, sell-out, and A&P (Advertising & Promotion) spend.
- Monitor and report monthly and year-to-date (MTD/YTD) sell-out performance by door and SKU.
- Develop data-driven action plans and implement corrective measures to achieve sales and brand objectives.
- Support the execution of the brand strategy at the market level in alignment with global brand guidelines.
Trade Marketing
- Plan, negotiate, and secure in-store trade marketing activations in coordination with local DSR (Distributor Sales Representatives) teams across markets.
- Drive visibility by negotiating premium space, windows, and secondary placements with key retail accounts.
- Collaborate with Education and Experience teams to conceptualize and execute brand events, masterclasses, and clienteling activations.
- Define and roll out localized education plans per market, in alignment with central Education (EDU) team directives.
Merchandising & CAPEX Management
- Ensure consistent execution of the brand's visual identity and retail image across all points of sale.
- Oversee implementation of planograms and plan compliance checks to ensure alignment with global merchandising guidelines.
- Manage SKU assortment and optimize on-shelf availability through regular audits and gap analysis.
- Supervise trade animation rollouts, including permits, technical drawings, and execution approvals.
- Coordinate timely updates of visual merchandising elements in-store.
- Identify and propose CAPEX investment opportunities aligned with strategic retail development and brand elevation goals.
Order & Supply Chain Coordination
- Track and manage distributor order cycles to ensure alignment with sell-through trends and forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor distributor payment schedules and ensure compliance with agreed payment terms in coordination with Finance.

Your Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluency in Italian is mandatory
- 35 years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, or retail operations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to travel ( up to 40% of the time)
