Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting the Rewards initiatives of the Bank, including, Rewards & Recognition schemes, Job Evaluation and HRMS implementation. Job involves using analytical decision-support tools for various analyses, and liaising with HR Coordinators and People Advisory & Business Partners (PABPs) for information and feedback.
Key Result Areas
Job evaluation:
- Maintain a centralized repository of all jobs within the Bank.
- Support Manager in addressing requests coming in from PABPs and business groups for evaluation / re-evaluation of jobs from time to time.
- Organize job evaluation panels periodically.
- Facilitate such job evaluation panels and act as an SME on Job Evaluation; act as a moderator during the job evaluation panel to ensure the evaluation represents the right scope of the job.
- Seek the necessary approvals on the evaluation.
- Organize training programs for enrolling new evaluation panelists within the Bank.
- Assist the Manager with conducting detailed job slotting and job mapping.
- Provide information / feedback to the HR Coordinators, PABPs and other stakeholders from different groups on matters relating to Job Evaluation policy implementation, clarification and interpretation.
Employee Recognition:
- Prepare the R&R budget in coordination with Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for changes and new R&R initiatives.
- Provide the support to HR Coordinators regarding their queries on budgets / policy and be available for discussion about any individual cases pertaining to R&R schemes (such as Long Service Awards, Global Recognition Scheme and Spot Rewards).
- Handle all MIS / data requests and R&R Communications.
- Ensure the availability of R&R history to assist in decision making.
Other General Tasks:
- Assist with the roll out of specific technology / automation initiatives pertaining to Job Evaluation and Employee Recognition.
- Assist the Manager with rolling out key changes and/or new initiatives and developing HR policies for the same.
Liaise with the Manager to update the Policy manuals with approved changes; ensure that all changes are updated on the intranet.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in HR / business (or related discipline) with at least 4-6 years relevant experience in HR
- Logical reasoning and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of HR systems and procedures
- Knowledge of Hay job evaluation methodology is a plus
- Expertise in MS Office (specially Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and MIS reporting skills
