About The Role:

The Assistant Manager, Risk Analytics is responsible for supporting and Risk, AML &Compliance teams through data analytics, reporting, dashboarding, and automation. The role focuses on developing accurate, timely, and scalable AML data outputs to support management reporting, and regulatory data submissions. The position requires close collaboration with AML, Technology, and Risk Analytics teams to ensure high data quality, analytical consistency, and auditready reporting, while operating in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, MIS reports, and analytical trackers to support operational and management oversight.
  • Automate recurring reports and performance metrics, reducing dependency on manual Excelbased processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reconciliation across all Risk & AML analytics outputs and reports.
  • Integrate data from multiple internal systems into consolidated reporting and analytical views.
  • Perform transaction monitoring analytics, including alert trend analysis, scenariolevel performance metrics, and threshold impact analysis.
  • Support regulatory reporting by compiling datasets from multiple systems accurately
  • Execute adhoc analytical reviews and thematic data analysis in response to Risk, AML, audit, or regulatory data requests.
  • Maintain structured AML datasets, documentation, and audit trails to ensure outputs are traceable and reproducible.
  • Identify data anomalies, trends, and outliers, escalating observations to senior team members for review.
  • Assessment and rationalization of threshold settings and scenario mappings across products, channels, and risk segments.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 36 years of handson experience in data analytics, reporting, or MIS roles, preferably within Risk, AML, Compliance, Fraud, or Financial Services environments.
  • Strong experience in dashboarding, MIS reporting, and analytical tracker development for operational and management oversight.
  • Proven capability in automating recurring reports and performance metrics, with demonstrated reduction of manual, Exceldriven processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Analytics tools such as Python, R, and BI tools (e.g., QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience working with multiple internal data sources/systems and integrating them into consolidated analytical and reporting views.
  • Solid understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of analytics outputs.
  • Working knowledge of transaction monitoring data and related metrics, including alert trends, scenariolevel performance, and threshold impact analysis (analytics perspective).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify data anomalies, trends, and outliers and clearly communicate observations to senior stakeholders.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Risk, AML, Technology, and Assurance teams.
