As part of our expanding operations in the Middle East region, we are seeking an Assistant Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. Based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Job Brief:
This role manages sourcing, supplier coordination, and inventory planning to support daily operations and cost optimisation in a fast‑growing F&B company. It offers hands‑on procurement exposure, cross‑team collaboration, and flexible start/end working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct and procurement activities to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements across the business.
- Source cost‑effective products and services while maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Develop, manage, and strengthen supplier relationships, including contracts and commercial terms.
- Review and manage weekly and monthly purchasing plans and costing.
- Maintain a controlled and up‑to‑date supplier base and documentation.
- Achieve cost‑saving targets through effective negotiation and alternative sourcing strategies.
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, Managing direct spend.
- Manufacturing industry exposure is highly preferred.
- Proven negotiation skills with experience sourcing alternative products or suppliers.
- Strong analytical capability with confidence working on costing and inventory data.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain fundamentals.
