AV Design & Estimation Engineer

Ventum Tech is seeking an experienced Senior AV Design & Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. This senior-level role will lead AV system design, technical solution development, and cost estimation for high-value projects across corporate, commercial, and large-scale environments.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong Middle East market experience and hands-on AV system expertise.

Key Responsibilities 

- Lead end-to-end AV system design based on project requirements and site conditions

- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals

- Develop solutions for: - Video Conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex-ready systems) - Meeting rooms (huddle rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, auditoriums) - Digital signage and LED display systems - Audio systems (BGM, paging, conferencing)

- Review tender documents and ensure technical compliance

- Select equipment and prepare technical submittals from major AV manufacturers

- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and project teams

- Conduct site surveys and provide optimized design solutions

- Support execution teams with clarifications and value engineering

Mandatory Requirements 

- 3–5 years AV design & estimation experience in the Middle East

- CTS Certification

- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, conferencing platforms, LED walls, and digital signage

- Proven experience preparing professional proposals, BOQs, and compliance documentation

- Familiarity with leading AV brands (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Shure, Sennheiser, Bose, etc.)

Added Advantage 

- AutoCAD / Visio / Excel proficiency

- AV over IP knowledge (Dante, NVX, AVLAN)

- Structured cabling & signal flow documentation experience

- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
