How you will create an impact:
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and cloud operations to develop and enhance our SaaS solutions for pricing optimization.
- Help ensure the platform's stability and security by considering non-functional aspects, such as performance, scalability, reliability and data privacy.
- Assist in building data intensive applications and microservices that integrate seamlessly into client environments, delivering robust and innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the development of user-friendly features, APIs, and backend services that drive the pricing platform's functionality.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle by following clean coding practices and engaging in peer code reviews.
About You:
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- You have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- You are passionate about technology trends and digital innovation and enjoy solving complex problems.
- You have deep knowledge of Java and Spring Boot; Python experience is a plus.
- You are familiar with Java frameworks such as Quarkus or Micronaut.
- You are familiar with Apache Spark using Java to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly: AWS Lambda, Amazon SQS / SNS, Docker, Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate
- Knowledge of Temporal workflows and Apache Airflow is a plus.
- You have basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React.js or Angular.
- You understand relational database systems, especially PostgreSQL; ClickHouse is a plus.
- You are familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
- You are excited about TDD, BDD, Clean Code, and the You build it, you run it mindset and are keen to apply and deepen these practices.
