Role Description
The Beach Floor Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Loft A Studio's location in Doha, Qatar. This role involves supervising daily operations of the beach facility to ensure a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities include overseeing customer service, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, training and coaching staff, and maintaining high service and operational standards.

- Proven ability in Training, Coaching, and supervising teams to perform efficiently and maintain high service standards.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee daily operations and staff performance effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under minimal supervision.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience in hospitality, leisure, or a supervisory role in a similar setting is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily beach operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient service.
- Monitor staff performance and assign duties (lifeguards, attendants, service staff).
- Ensure all beach equipment is set up and maintained properly.
- Enforce safety rules, emergency procedures, and company policies.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements promptly.
- Provide clear daily briefings to the beach team.
- Maintain ongoing coordination and monitoring with lifeguards, POS operators, maintenance, security, and housekeeping teams.
- Ensure professional, friendly, and culturally appropriate communication with guests.
- Report incidents, feedback, and operational updates to management in a timely manner.
- Prepare written reports.
- Greet and assist guests, ensuring a high level of hospitality.
- Anticipate guest needs and personalize service when possible.
- Resolve complaints calmly and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure lifeguards are alert and positioned correctly.
- Monitor weather and sea conditions; take action when required.
- Conduct regular, ongoing inspections of the beach area and facilities to ensure safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and resort policies.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members.
- Conduct shift briefings and debriefings.
- Monitor attendance, grooming, and discipline.
- Support team during peak hours or emergencies.
- Oversee and maintain the inventory of beach supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
- Coordinate setup for events or special beach activities.
- Keep records of daily operations and incidents.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the beach area.
- Promote beach services, activities, and special offers to guests through direct interaction.
- Communicate daily promotions, events, and experiences to increase guest participation.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all guest interactions reflect the company's image and standards.
- Gather guest feedback and communicate insights to management to improve services and marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with marketing/events teams to execute on-site promotions and beach events.
- Support social media opportunities (assisting guests, facilitating photo-friendly setups, highlighting experiences).
