Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BMS Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role involves driving sales of Building Management Systems (BMS) through technical expertise and relationship-building with clients. The ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of our organization by understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their BMS requirements and provide expert advice.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and technical evaluations of buildings to create customized BMS solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of BMS solutions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support during the bidding and post-sales process.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in BMS technology to maintain competitive edge and product knowledge.
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets while contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or technical sales within the construction or building management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems, KNX, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their goals and budget.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to closing sales.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
