Job Summary

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within targeted industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agency business development, deep understanding of industry-specific marketing, and the ability to build long-term client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker, a strong negotiator, and a results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition:

Identify and target potential clients in key industries (e.g., FMCG, retail, real estate, healthcare, etc.).

Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, digital) to develop tailored proposals and presentations.

Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Market Intelligence:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

Use insights to refine business development strategies and position the agency as a leader in industry marketing.

Proposal & Pitch Development:

Create compelling, customized proposals and pitches that address client needs and showcase the agency's expertise.

Present proposals confidently and persuasively to potential clients.

Collaboration & Leadership:

Work closely with the marketing and strategy teams to align business development efforts with agency capabilities.

Mentor junior business development team members and contribute to a culture of growth and excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

+3 years of business development experience within a marketing or advertising agency.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and securing high-value clients.

Experience in industry-specific marketing (e.g., retail, real estate, FMCG, healthcare, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong network of contacts in key industries.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to think strategically and develop data-driven business development plans.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).

Personal Attributes:

Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.

Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced agency environment.

Willingness to work on-site in New Cairo.
