Air Q Limited is seeking a highly capable Business Development Manager with strong experience in UAV/UAS sales or Defence sector business development. The ideal candidate will support the company's commercial growth initiatives and strengthen its presence in local and international markets. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring alignment of business development activities with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development
- Identify and assess potential business opportunities in targeted markets, especially within the UAV, UAS, Aerospace, and Defence sectors.
- Conduct market research and present insights to senior management.
- Assist in the development of business plans and growth strategies.
2. Partnership Management
- Support relationship-building with government authorities, defence entities, aerospace companies, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
- Assist in negotiations for commercial agreements and partnership initiatives.
- Represent the company professionally in meetings, events, and exhibitions.
3. Internal Coordination & Alignment
- Coordinate with internal teams to support business development activities.
- Ensure all commercial documentation complies with internal governance standards.
- Contribute to planning, forecasting, and strategic review cycles.
4. Team & Project Support
- Support BD team members in executing departmental goals.
- Ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.
- Maintain a collaborative, professional, and results-driven work culture.
5. Communication & Representation
- Participate in official meetings and external engagements as assigned.
- Support initiatives to enhance corporate visibility and brand representation.
6. General Duties
- Uphold company values, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Head of Corporate Services or senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience (Mandatory)
- 812 years of experience in Business Development, with mandatory experience in either:
- UAV/UAS sales and solutions, or
- Business development within the Defence or Aerospace sector.
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships and secure new opportunities.
- Experience working with government, defence entities, or industrial clients is highly preferred.
