Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead new client acquisition efforts for a well-known exhibitions design organisation here in the UAE.
This role is critical in expanding their customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across the exhibition and events industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Initiate contact with prospective clients to understand their exhibition and event needs.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design and project) to craft competitive offerings.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Provide feedback to senior management on market dynamics and customer expectations.
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in exhibitions, events or temporary structures.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
