Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Saudi Arabia (Dammam/Riyadh) for a Business Development Manager – Heavy Transport.

The role focuses on developing new business opportunities specifically in heavy machinery transport using low bed trailers. The candidate will be responsible for securing contracts, building relationships with key clients (construction companies, logistics firms, oil & gas contractors), and driving revenue growth in the Saudi market.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and securing transport contracts for heavy and oversized loads
• Developing strong relationships with Aramco contractors, construction companies, and logistics partners
• Preparing quotations, proposals, and tenders
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis within Saudi Arabia
• Coordinating with operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Representing the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development within transportation or logistics (mandatory)
• Strong experience in heavy equipment transport / low bed trailer operations
• Existing network in Saudi Arabia (Aramco, construction, or logistics sector preferred)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills
• Ability to generate leads and close high-value transport contracts
• Knowledge of Saudi transport regulations and market dynamics
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently
• Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but relevant industry experience is more important

Key Advantage (Preferred)

• Experience handling overseas heavy load / abnormal loads
• Understanding of permits, route surveys, and heavy haul logistics in KSA
