Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading marketing & events agency. This role combines hands-on event execution with strategic marketing leadership, requiring a commercially minded individual who can drive business development while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end planning, technical drawings coordination, and execution of events and exhibition stands, ensuring full alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
  • Receive and assess client queries and project requests; define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, cost estimations, and commercial proposals.
  • Brief and manage the installation team on-site, ensuring clarity of scope and responsibilities.
  • Set and control installation schedules and on-site execution plans.

Marketing Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote events and enhance brand visibility.

Client Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, providing regular updates, managing feedback, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and client acquisition.

Supplier Network Development

  • Establish and maintain a robust network of suppliers in the UAE, focusing on exhibition services, LED screens, and high-tech interactive games to enhance event offerings.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate and government sectors, as well as semi-private and private entities.
  • Proactively generate leads through networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct cold calls, send targeted emails, and leverage LinkedIn to connect with potential clients and decision-makers.

Social Media & Content Leadership

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and analysis of social media management and content creation across all platforms.
  • Oversee paid advertising campaigns from concept to completion, including budgeting, audience targeting, and performance optimisation.
  • Lead and mentor the content and social media team, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and consistent delivery of high-quality Arabic and English content.
  • Drive measurable growth and engagement across all digital channels.

Tender Preparation

  • Prepare comprehensive tender documents and proposals to secure new business.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue arrangements, equipment setup, and on-site management during events.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Established black book of contacts and active clients.
  • Proven revenue generation and a strong understanding of the events industry (Non-Negotiable, must come from industry)
  • Experience in operations, logistics, budgeting, and the ability to handle quotes and RFPs
