We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong technical background and a proven track record of selling engineering software or digital solutions to the Oil & Gas industry. As our pioneer in this new market, you will be responsible for building our regional presence from the ground up. You will leverage your technical expertise to understand complex operational pain points and position our digital solutions as essential business drivers for regional operators.
Job Mission
Drive strategic growth and market penetration for the company's technology and digital solutions within the Oil & Gas industry. This involves identifying and developing new business opportunities by leveraging a deep technical understanding of industry challenges (e.g., reservoir simulation, drilling monitoring and automation, production optimization, digital twins, and AI/ML applications) and demonstrating the value proposition of the company's software and services. The role requires managing the complete business development lifecycle, collaborating closely with sales and technical teams, and ensuring alignment with the company's long-term strategic objectives and revenue targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to successfully launch our digital solutions in the Middle East region.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze local market trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitor activities to identify lucrative opportunities and niche entry points.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct deep-dive technical discovery sessions to understand clients legacy systems, data silos, and operational bottlenecks.
- Solution Architecture: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, provide technical information, translate complex client requirements into tailored, high-ROI digital solutions and assist in preparing technical proposals that meet those requirements, by combining company's technologies and services expertise. | Define the scope, objectives, and requirements of the solution deployment in collaboration with stakeholders, including the sales team, to ensure that the expectations created during the sales phase are completely understood and incorporated into the project/solution scope.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, ranging from C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs) to operational leaders (Asset Managers, Production Managers, Drilling supervisors, etc.)
- Product Evangelism: Represent the company at regional industry conferences, webinars, and trade shows, serving as a thought leader on O&G digital transformation. Conduct product or solution demonstrations and gather customer feedback to support the product team.
- Training: Provide technical training and capacity building to team members and end-users, when necessary.
Competencies
Technical
- 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or technical consulting.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to seamlessly translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions.
- Negotiation and decision making;
- Deep understanding of Oil & Gas operations and the current technological challenges the industry faces (e.g., edge/cloud computing, SCADA systems, data integration, engineering simulation).
- Knowledge of Upstream market and technical challenges in the disciplines of Reservoir Engineering, Production and Flow Assurance, Drilling and Well construction.

Education
- Complete graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
