Job Description

Role: Business Development Manager Industrial & Protective Coatings

*** Protective coatings sales experience ideally within the paint industry is essential ***

An established industrial group with diverse business divisions is looking for a driven Business Development Manager Industrial & Protective Coatings to spearhead growth in key sectors including Oil & Gas, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), Steel Fabrication, Scaffolding, Pipes & Fittings, Power Transformers, and Heavy Vehicles.

This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical understanding of industrial coatings, B2B sales experience, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts with a focus on high-potential sectors such as Oil & Gas Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), Steel Fabrication, Scaffolding, Pipes & Fittings, Power Transformers, and Heavy Vehicles (Trucks & Trailers).
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, improve conversion ratios, and expand our customer base.
  • Develop and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline that positively impacts the monthly revenue stream.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers by leveraging technical expertise in protective and industrial coatings.
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to grow market share and strengthen brand visibility across the region.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding, support, and timely delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record in industrial and protective coatings sales, preferably within the paint industry.
  • Min 35 years of experience in B2B sales management in the UAE, including team leadership and target achievement.
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial coatings applications and client requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute results-driven business development plans.
  • Solid understanding of the UAE industrial market and its key players.
  • NACE or SSPC Level 2 certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary circa 18 - 22k per month (DOE) + incentives, allowances & benefits
