Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Cairo, Egypt (with extensive regional travel)

Role Purpose
The Business Development Executive is responsible for originating, developing, and advancing commercial opportunities across Africa and the Middle East, with a focus on energy, LNG, gas infrastructure, gas-to-power, waste-2-power and industrial energy solutions.
The role operates heavily in early-stage, ambiguous environments where structure must often be created, not inherited.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Opportunity Origination
Monitor and analyze African and Middle Eastern energy markets, including LNG, gas, power, and infrastructure developments.
Identify, screen, and originate new business opportunities aligned with Rosetta Energy's strategy.
Track regulatory, policy, and market shifts across emerging markets and translate them into commercial opportunities.
Develop and maintain a credible, high-quality opportunity pipeline.
Stakeholder Engagement & Networking
Build and manage relationships with government entities, regulators, utilities, industrial clients, developers, EPCs, suppliers, and financiers.
Actively network across markets to surface opportunities before they become public or competitive.
Represent Rosetta Energy in meetings, negotiations, conferences, and regional forums.
Commercial Development & Deal Progression
Support structuring of commercial frameworks, pricing concepts, and partnership models.
Coordinate internal inputs (technical, finance, legal) to progress opportunities from concept to feasibility.
Support negotiations of NDAs, MoUs, term sheets, and commercial agreements.
Prepare investment materials and support internal approval processes.
Execution Handover & Internal Coordination
Ensure well-structured handover of mature opportunities to project development and execution teams.
Maintain disciplined opportunity tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
510 years of experience in business development, commercial roles, or project development within:
Energy
LNG / gas
Power
Infrastructure
Proven experience working in emerging markets.
Egypt-specific experience is not required.
