Role Description

Business Developer Engineer for a company specialized in Steel Structures, responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and translating technical requirements into successfully delivered projects through cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Collect, analyze, and clearly communicate client requirements to production management and technical teams.
  • Take full ownership of project delivery and outputs from initiation through final handover.
  • Follow up on and collect client payments according to contracts and issued invoices.
  • Document all project phases and prepare regular reports on progress, risks, and proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to study the market and target suitable client segments.
  • Follow up on client feedback after project delivery and contribute to continuous service improvement.
  • Contribute to achieving company sales targets.
  • Conduct site visits and attend external meetings as required.
  • Perform duties in direct coordination with the General Manager or delegated authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (Construction).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or project-related roles.
  • Solid understanding of steel structures and metal works.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work in the field and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
