As a BI Analyst, you will transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will act as a strategic advisor, using data visualization and analysis to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to track KPIs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations) to define reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Data Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and organize data from various sources.
- Process Optimization: Automate reporting workflows and improve data collection methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to urgent business questions with deep-dive analytical projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, MySQL, or similar).
- Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query).
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced modeling is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Tableau Certified.
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
- Knowledge of AI/ML for predictive analytics or prompt engineering
