Business Project Manager, Banking (1 year contract, Extendable)

We're looking for a Business Project Manager (1 year contract, strong potential for extension) to drive delivery of technology change programmes for a leading financial services organisation. You'll sit at the intersection of business, technology, and operations owning governance, requirements, and system integration coordination across complex, multi-team initiatives.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end delivery governance: planning, milestones, resourcing, reporting and RAID management
• Partner with Business, Risk/Compliance and Technology stakeholders to shape scope and success measures
• Gather and document requirements (epics, user stories, process flows) and drive traceability from requirements through to testing and deployment
• Facilitate discovery workshops, prioritisation sessions and process mapping
• Act as single point of contact for system interfaces/integrations - coordinating SIT/E2E testing, defect triage and cutover readiness across upstream/downstream teams
• Drive delivery cadence (stand-ups, checkpoints, governance routines) across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid models

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager delivering technology change within complex, multi-team programmes
• Strong systems integration/interface coordination background
• Solid requirements engineering skills - workshop facilitation, story writing, UAT/SIT support
• Excellent stakeholder management and written communication (crisp packs, minutes, decision logs)
• Comfortable across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery

Nice to have

• Financial services/banking delivery experience in a regulated environment
• Exposure to service transition, production readiness or incident/problem management
• Experience working with distributed, cross-region teams
• Jira/Confluence, MS Project/Smartsheet, Excel/PowerPoint
